Christmas Day Dawn

5:30 am- After making the coffee and finishing up last night’s dishes and the family sleeps, turned around to see the sky lit up with red, …another brilliant sky for Christmas Day dawn.

Grabbed the camera and bounded up the hill to photograph it over the house and over the goat shed. Not feeling the cold it seems, I wandered a bit talking photos up and down the hill, coming back in the warm house, with a cold nose and cheeks, grateful for my shelter, and the hot coffee.

My friends,
Deep peace of the running wave to you.
Deep peace of the flowing air to you.
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you.
Deep peace of the shining stars to you.
