On the afternoon we arrived, the whole group came to our place for a barbecue. Larry had also invited lots of friends..we had a crowd.
Project wise we did a lot of clearing of the small bushes between the trees. Larry tried out the new brush cutting blade for the trimmer. I sprayed some poison oak. The weather was beautiful and we still have a leak in the roof; the rug is wet in the fifth wheel every time we come up. Arrgh!
We went with neighbors to the Forks and everyone had hamburgers and fries. Although she was busy reading and relaxing inside mostly, Madeline helped us one day taking branches to the burn pile. We borrowed Russ’s ladder so I could hang my swing (that Don helped me saw) in the tree.

Started using the two bird feeders. The jays love the peanuts but it took a couple days for them to find them. The smaller birds found their feeder on the last day we were there! One day we went up exploring toward Mammoth Pools. Pretty!
