Blog Archive Happiness

–Nov 16  Today, I’m happy because I have found a way to create a blog archive in one step. On my wordpress.org blog, the easiest in the world, here’s what you do.  Click on Add New Page and type this:

This is a photo because had I actually typed this out it would have created an archive right here.

…that’s all.  Now you have a nice list of every post you’ve written, easy to scroll through, for others and you!  I put my page on my navigation bar. Now I will be able to copy it to MS Word and divide them all into categories.

Neat. 🙂

–Nov 22 Update: As of today, I have finished a bit of blog housekeeping and categorized all the posts here in my new Blog Archive. One added benefit for me is that I now see what I have spent a lot of time recording and what I haven’t touched on at all.

I’m so happy I found your blog (via New Zealand of all things, isn’t blogging wonderful). I live in the Tehachapi mountains and I blog about everything that comes to mind with some structure to it and nature taking center stage. I’m glad archiving works well in WordPress. I use Blogger and I’m usually happy with it. I hope I can get your blog in my blog roll there so I can follow it easier than via email notifications.

Thanks, Inger! I love your area through the Tehachapis, we try to go through that way home from OC when we can. Such a scenic canyon. One reason I like having an index of posts in for those who are interested in certain particular subjects. I wish more blogs had this,…I’d spend more time reading than floundering , looking for this or that post just labeled ‘August’ You see? hahaha

Such a stunning scene. How very lucky you are to have that right outside your door 🙂
